Carly Racklin is a storyteller, writing consultant, editor, amateur voice actress, social media marketer, hobbyist illustrator, bird nerd, and lover of all things horror from New Jersey. She writes about monsters with hearts, monsters born from hearts, and every lovely and odd thing in-between.
Carly graduated from Arcadia University in 2017 with a B.A. in English with a concentration in Creative Writing. At Arcadia she served as a consultant in the on-campus Writing Center for two years, where her affinity for deep creative discussions metamorphosed into a passion, motivating her to continue her consulting work after graduating.
When she isn't writing, Carly can be found knitting, bird-watching, playing video games, or drinking something caffeinated (though she's trying to cut back on that). Her favorite birds are vultures, which she thinks more people should appreciate, for the same reason she writes such gloomy tales - she believes that just because something is morbid, or a bit unsightly, doesn't mean it isn't worthy of love.
